This Law shall regulate the legal status of companies and other forms of organization in compliance with this Law, and in particular their incorporation, managing, status changes, changes of legal form, dissolution and other issues relevant for their status, as well as the legal status of entrepreneurs.

The provisions hereof shall also apply to all forms of businesses operation that are established and under a separate law, unless otherwise provided by that law.

    A company (hereinafter referred to as the company) is a legal person conducting an activity with the aim of gaining profit.

• Acquiring the status of legal person

    A company acquires the status of a legal person through registration in the Business Entities Register in accordance with the law governing the registration * (hereinafter referred to as: the law on registration).
