Scope of Regulation
- Article 1
  
  This Law shall regulate the public property right and certain other property rights of the Republic of Serbia, the autonomous province and the local self-government unit.
Three Forms of Public Property
- Article 2
  
  Public property shall comprise the public property of the Republic of Serbia - state property, property right of the autonomous province - provincial property and the property right of the local self-government unit - municipal, i.e. city property.
Subject of Public Property
- Article 3
  
  Public property includes natural resources, goods of general interest and goods in general use, which have been legally determined to be in public property, items used by authorities and organisations of the Republic of Serbia, of the autonomous provinces and of the local self-government unit, institutions, public agencies and other organisations the founder of which is the Republic of Serbia, the autonomous province and the local self-government unit and other items which, in line with the law, are in public property.
  
  Items of the organisations of mandatory social insurance shall not be deemed public property as specified in paragraph 1 of this Article.
