Article 1
This Law shall regulate the specifics of the procedure and position of the inspection in the area of the budget system (hereinafter: the budget inspection), as well as other issues of importance for inspection supervision in such area.

Article 2
In performing inspection supervision, the budget inspection shall check the application of laws and other regulations in the area of purposeful and legal use of public funds and material and financial operations.

Article 3
The purpose of the budget inspection shall be, in accordance with the established competencies, to ensure respect for the legal and purposeful use of public funds and the realization of the public interest in the areas that are the subject of inspection supervision.
