Article 1
This Law shall regulate the conditions and manner of performing museum activity, its structure and organisation, the arrangement and scope of work of the museum, the manner of protection, use and processing of museum material and keeping of museum documentation, and other issues of importance for performing museum activity.

Article 2
Terms used in this Law in the grammatical masculine gender shall imply both the natural masculine and feminine gender of the persons they refer to.

Article 3
The name of the museum shall be defined by the founding act and the statute, and it must contain the word "museum".
The use of the word "museum" in the names of other legal entities and entrepreneurs shall require the consent of the ministry in charge of culture (hereinafter: the Ministry).
Given the goals and importance of another legal entity, i.e., activity, the Ministry shall assess whether that legal entity or entrepreneur can have the word "museum" in its name or not.
The provisions of this Article shall not apply to galleries.
